Performing a manual check on a store valve

Introduction

A store valve is intended to seal your cold store gas-tight from the PVC piping that is connected to the CO2 adsorber. This store valve should be checked once or twice a year for any problems such as wear, freezing or lack of compressed air. You can easily check if the store valve is working properly. If the test shows that the store valve is not functioning properly, always contact your installer.

Instructions

1) On the side, you can see, by the direction of the slot of the shaft, whether the store valve is open or closed.

2) When the slot of the shaft aligns with the lines on the PVC, it means that the store valve is closed.

3) When you turn the valve a quarter turn, the slot of the shaft must also rotate a quarter turn and must be against the line direction of the PVC. Then turn the valve a quarter turn back and see if the store valve closes again.

4) If the store valve opens and closes correctly while the valve is turning, it means that the store valve is working properly.
